View Full Version : Magnus scored at 241 3/8
I put Magnus down last night and his hard antler score is 241 3/8". This is exciting for me because his sire GB buckster scored 242 at 3 also. Then he made a big jump to 310 his next year. If Magnus can keep his large typical frame and make a big jump like his father did, he should be one impressive buck .

Looking good Tom, He looks real wide, how wide is he?
I used 24 1/4" on the score sheet to be conservative. I think he was little wider than that . This isn't the greatest picture but does show others for proof of his width.
Thanks for the compliments!

A good looking deer with great width. I'm glad he made the 240+" mark for you Tom. How many NT inches of antler did he have? JOE
Joe,
NT inches were 15 and 2/8" if i did it right. His G-4and 5 come up together off the main beam so I am not sure if an official would count one of them as a NT tine or not I counted them as being a G-4 and a G-5 . I am not an official scorer but I am confident in the gross score being atleast 240"+. His net score that I came up with was just over 200". There again , I will have to have an official score him to know for sure. I will post the score sheet tonight .
Here is Magnus score sheet. It is unofficial but I think I did all the measuring as correct as it could have been done.

Where can I find a SCI scoresheet like that to print off?
WHITETAIL QUEST.COM. click on the "old pages " and scroll down a bit. you will find sci typical and nontypical forms that you can copy.

I goofed up the addition on this score sheet. the gross score is correct but the subtotals should read 106 3/8 --left side, 110 6/8--right side and 24 2/8 is spread.
