Hello all !
Well, we are now "home on the the range" having moved back from the trapline just before spring thaw (and running water with the snowmobiles!). So we are home and now near a phone if you need to contact us. :)
We are excitedly waiting for news from our deer farming friends about the first spotted babies to arrive!
May your fawns all be healthy and your mammas calm and happy...
Anyway, this is just a short note to let you know that the deadline to reserve ad space in the summer issue was April 15 (just to give us an idea of what space we will need to work with for this issue.) We have very limited ad space left...book your space soon!
Ads should be received by May 1st for a June 1 summer mailing. ***Remember if your main market is Trophy Ranches or preserves, this is the issue to be in...most ranch purchases happen by the end of July, with some sales into August.
Don't wait for the FALL issue to advertise hunt bucks...September will be too late.
Also, some of the biggest and best breeding stock sales last year happened mid-summer (I.e.- waiting till fall would have missed these early sales).
If you are a regular advertiser and would like a new or updated ad, please feel free to let us know and we will be glad to work with you on it.
At this time we would like to thank Ron & Mary Pierce for their generous donation to NADeFA through the purchasing of the Summer front cover! And just as a reminder, over 100 complimemtary summer issues will be mailed out as part of Pierce's donation to NADeFA to a target audience...deer producers in Texas.
This issue so far will include articles on EHD, CWD Research update on our farm, Canadian Supersire, Thunderhead, Avalanche related progeny, Lakota & Dakota the Wonder twins (Pierce's), Not all non-typicals are created equal, Deer Photography 101 and much more. If you have anything to add, or pictures that could be used in these articles, please let us know...
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Thanks,
Tara <><
