Doe pregnant twice in one year?

We have a mature doe that had twins in June and I really think she looks pregnant again. Anyone ever have this happen? Could she be?

I don't know if this ever happens in deer but it is very common for a horse to breed immediately after folding. Guess it could be possible for a deer.

if she is.... she would fawn in mid to late January. we have some does that really fatten up after weaning their fawns, we call them "jello does" their whole body jiggles when they walk

I agree with Curtis. Every year a couple will make me say "what the ?!#$@". But nothing ever comes of it. You never know though. Mother nature doesn't always play by the rules.:eek:
