For those of you who use wood fence post what kind do you use? For 8 foot fence will 4" post work? also here in Indiana will prob go with 12' post for the frost. I found some that are cca treated southern yellow pine. Are they any good? Will I need to go bigger on corner post? I know I need to brace them properly. Wind shouldn't be an issue either.

Southern yellow pine is a very good and strong post. I would use 6 inch corner post.

You can also check with your local electrical company & see if they have any old telephone poles/electrical poles laying around that they will give to you. That is what we used on our fence. We got over 65 poles for free - we just had to pick them up.
