Just curious, if a doe was live bred, when can you stop watching for her to have babies? She doesn't look pregnant but we've had a few that didn't look it and ended up having babies. and wouldn't she be pregnant if she was live bred?

I am in the same boat waiting for a live bred doe that is not showing any signs of being pregnant. I think we will just have to wait and see

I had a couple live breds not fawn last year, so there is never a guarentee, although i did use a different buck this past year and they all fawned.

I have a doe that I witnessed getting bred late, and I am expecting fawns 7/14/10. She was backed up with a buck fawn, and I believe it was his problems not hers. She just started showing good last week.

It will vary from area to area, but here in my part of TX I have seen them born as late as late July. Have fun!
