Appologies if this is in the wrong place... Our fawn(American Whitetail) we have, is seeming excessively hungry, so, I do not think we are feeding him enough for his age... We have taken a guess as of his age, but. What are the more exact ways to tell a fawn's age? This guy was a rescue by the way, hunted mother, wandering in the middle of the highway

There are none that I know of, but I wouldn't worry. Just give him about 10% of his body weight per feeding and don't worry about the age.

Hunted Mother? who is hunting in May?

Most fawns would be around 4 to 6 weeks of age right now. I hope that helps.
