Micheal, What do ya think about the 6x6 yearling out of Larry/Scarlett?
Remember, Scarlett is Rokstar's mother. If he makes the jump Rockstar did, and stays typical, I cant wait. After posting those pics, I noticed he looks better in person, but Oh-Well.

Paul, we had to put Big Ticket down last week because he broke one of his big drops off. He hasn't wanted much to do with me or the camera since. He scored around 230'' then. He was still bulbed out all over. It will be interesting to see were he finishes. We are just glad to have him here.
Here is the one pic I got of him since having some antler removed.

I know of 2 people myself included who got a pied out of Eddie Ray's buck Thunder. Thunder of course was a great buck. Jack and Jack, (that's funny stuff right there) would you guys trying Thunder help you introduce larger antlers while still not wandering off from the pied stuff to far?
Bad news is though ours and the other guy we know of both died soon after birth.

I think I would bring in the pied from my doe side and use any of the big bucks that produce for antler improvement throught AI. I think that is what Jack O does now.
My mule deer hybrid project I only wanted to bring in the white color and keep any white hybrid female fawns to produce the color in my mule deer. I will bred any white females back to my pure mule deer bucks or AI them with collected trophy mule deer.

The third pic is 219 and white 911 ( Highlander-Patrick bred doe). Highlander is putting super long tines on all his yearlings this year. Red 906 is out of Maxbo and a Maxin daughter. Note the scar on his neck. I have not a clue what he hit but it will go with him forever. It was very close to ending his life but some how he made it. I feel like he will be one to watch for next year as the injury in early May stopped most of his growth this year.

This is Big Easy, Yearling buck out of Maxbo 727 and a Royal Flush Doe. The royal Flush Doe, ( TR Blue 86-04), is the grandmother of Chris Mcspadden's largest yearling he had last year, Stemwinder, and now his largest yearling this year Voodoo. Chris Mcspadden of the refuge just sold the mother of Voodoo and Stemwinder today at the Texas top 30 in Austin for $225,000 Dollars. Shattering the all time record for a doe being sold at auction. That makes this buck a half brother to that Doe but instead of Dreambuck on the top you have Maxbo 727. Add to that his 7x6 mainframe and great look. Oh and don't forget the other royal flush doe's that are responsible for bucks such as Big O., Bladestar, Sideways, and Gonzalez B510 that sold for $160,000, and the doe that sold for $155,000 at the TDA in 2009. This was the choice that made out of the lot that I bought at the Top 30 in January from Brad Sullivan at Sullivan Whitetails. Brad has Retained Half interest in this buck.

Great looking yearlings Fred...
Just look at what we deer breeders have accomplished in such a short time with selective breeding. We have the best trophy deer for the hunting community.
Now lets all work together to sell the best hunting experience to the hunters. Harvest facilities make your facility the place to go for the greatest hunting experience. Always remember to keep it hunting and not slaughter.
Great job to all who produce these fine looking animals.

Any Guess's on Score??
Cut 38 Special's antlers on fri morning. Brought them out to the PA sale. Harry S helped me score him. We came up with 207 3/8's" B&C. I'm very, very Happy with that score :) He still had quite a bit of velvet on, I'm gonna clean them up and rescore. Should be close to what we came up with.
I know there are much bigger yearlings out there but I'm just starting out so I'm very proud of him...

Not sure if he was the highest scoring yearling, but Valley View had a yearling out of Climax that scored between 280-290" I believe. Again, don't know if this was the highest scoring yearling or not.

I think Nathan Blossers Maxbo XL yearling could have a chance of being the largest yearlings or close to the largest.
