fawns face swelled

i have a doe fawn born yesterday that has a cut on her head and her face is swelled up like she got kicked. she is eating about 2oz. at feeding but her face is getting hard where she is swelled.
any ideas what to give her

i also want too mention, she is very runny when she goes poo. almost like water

is it hard like it could be alot of puss due to infection? If so you may need to drain. But I would give it alot of antibiotics.

Were there other does in the pen with the mom and fawn? Sounds to me like another doe may have been trying to stomp the fawn to death...usually they don't stop till the job is done........hopefully the lump on the face is all the injuries she has......she may have internal injuries as well........hopefully not.......watch her close......should give her antibiotics like richie said......make sure she does not dehydrate or things will be real bad........good luck!!

Might want to try giving her antibiotics like the other guys have said and try giving her pumpkin or some yogurt in the bottle. It should dry the runs right up. Good luck and keep us informed!

the fawn qiut eating and her face swelled up more. i called the vet and he gave me some naxcel and dexamethazone and I now have to tube feed her untill tomorrow and hopfully things get better.
