Ok, since I have completly struck out on the Moose meat, how about Elk, does anyone know where I can buy an Elk tenderloin????

Take a look at http://www.venison-meat.com/html/suppliers.html There are also many great recipes on this site.

These listings haven't been updated in a few years but still might be worth calling a few of these suppliers.

The other possibility is to check with local elk farmers's associations. They can usually tell you who has what for sale. You can find a comprehensive list of links to cervid associations in our Deerfarmer.com Links section.

Well the way I looked at it is this way. I could do that for maybe $11,000.00 and then I would be looking for about 7lbs of meat so the way I figured it, that would come to $1571.43 per lb. That is just a little to costly for a hunting camp meal, sorry guys, HAHAHAHA
