I have a Fuju FinePix S5700. Got it around Christmas 2008. Bought it at Ritz Camera. I like the way you hold on to it... you can use one hand. I also bought a printer with it. I don't know much about cameras in general but this one works good for me. We also got these camera binoculars that look interesting so hopefully we can figure those out when we get time.

Dear Mr. Drew Bailey, I use a canon Eos 1D and a canon D20 they both work fine but there is a steep learning curve on the SLR's. I have a good teacher, Russell. I also use Adoby photoshop CS3 and adoby lightroom, they both work great to but are hard to learn. Another cool editing system we use is called Fluid Mask. It is a back round removal program.
For video we use a canon XL2 And a canon GL2, both work great, but again are hard to use.
If you are considering getting a camera I would suggest one of canons rebel cameras, they are easy to use. Another thing is, invest your money in lenses. Even though they are expensive they pay off in the end.
If you want to see increased mass through your camera lenses may I suggest some Typhoon semen, NO STRAWS HAVE BEEN SOLD OR LEFT THE FARM TO DATE. ACT NOW
Good Night  -Isaac

I have the Canon Rebel XTI also. I have both a 28mm to 80mm lens, and a 75mm to 300mm lens. I am very happy with the setup I have. I have taken pics with it and took a CD with the pics on it to FEDEX Kinkos and they made big blown up pics for me. The person said she was surprised at how good the images were. Because as you blow them up they get pixely if the quality is poor.

I also have both the 28mm to 80 mm, and 75mm to 300mm lens. I leave the 75mm to 300mm lens on the camera. The only problem I have is the tame deer getting to close. I crop and enlarge most photos and the quality of the photo remains. It is also a very easy camera to use.
I have a Canon D5 and 3 lenses a 24-105 L IS USM and a 70-200 L IS USM, and a Tamron 200-400, I love this set up wish I had 10,000 for a 600mm lens

I also have the Canon Rebel XTI SLR. I have both a 28mm to 80mm lens, and a 75mm to 300mm lens, the 75mm to 300mm lens has image stabilization, they both have auto focus. I love this camera, it takes great photos and as stated is very easy to use. The Canon auto focus and image stabilization are great.

Another camera suggestion Recoynx is trail cameras.:) They have long battery life and the camera speed is very fast. Here is a photo of the applecreek streams and ponds stoked with rainbows, browns and brookies. We saw a big baled eagle pull out a 26" trout and fly over the farm. I am going to climb a tree and attach a Recoynx camera next to where the eagle perches.:eek: Send you some photos later.

Dear Mr. Drew Bailey. I think the canon Rebel XSi is a great choice it is 12.2-megapixel
Which can help show off all of your deers great racks. But again you will need to invest in a nice lens. I would suggest a Canon Zoom Telephoto EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS (Image Stabilizer) USM Autofocus Lens. This lens is 2x the price of the camera but will realy help you get close to your deer. If you need any more help you can email me at isaac@applecreekwhitetails.com. Hope this helps!!!
