Buck rubs to bare antler?

Has anyone every had a buck rub so much after his antlers are cut off that he rubbed down his nubs and rubbed the skin right off his head. We had this buck do that and we were really quite shocked to see how his antlers are growing this year. What do you do for a mass measurement come this fall?? If anyone has similar pictures please post as I am quite curious to see what others have out there that are similar to this.

I have seen a buck that shed his antlers as one when they were joined together, as for the C1 measurement it will be still the smallest circumference between the base and G1, a real sticky scorer might call abnormal circumferance and use an estimate of normal mass.

We have 2 bucks that have done that and both are growing like normal they just have one huge mass that is connected. We are not sure how to measure it either....

This buck is just growing a solid mass because of a scull problem!!!!
