light buff fawn

Hi there,

Anyone who raises white deer, can you tell me what this little fellow's color will end up? Will he stay this light or do they usually darken down with a lighter face?
Mom is white, dad is eh-um, of a darker race :D

If mom is white with brown eyes...He should turn all white it may take 1 year.

Billie Jo is correct. After he goes through a cycle of fawn coat, winter coat,and summer coat he will be white. At least thats how ours turn out. Allen

My deer have blue eyes and their coat will also turn all white. Some of my fawns are born snow white and some of them are creamy or cinnamon color. Sometimes it will take 2 full years for them to be white, but usually by the time they grow their second winter coat, they will be snow white. This usually means they are decendants from the Seneca White Deer from New York.
