i am wondering if anyone knows some good books to read to learn about whitetails that does not involve hunting but stuff i want to know like how the pedical forms, scent glands like deer farmer info

Do a search on Amazon or Barns & Nobles you will be able to read descrpitions of the book. I looked about a year ago but there is not a lot out there.

Amazon has a lot of deer books. I have a book called Quality Deer Management that I found at Bass Pro Shop. It focuses a little more on hunting preserve management, but a lot of the concepts still apply to farms.

I believe mine is called "Whitetailed Deer of North America". Not real up to date but has many studies on nutrition, health, growth, reproduction ect. Jim
