Our farm is growing from year to year. We have reached our goals for the past two years. The next mile stone on our list is to have one of our animals go at auction. This week we will be brought one step closer to that goal. We are looking at possibly putting a bred doe in the fall auctions or fawns in the 2012 spring auctions. Our search for an up and coming star is over. Our new sire will be Red Ridge Whitetails Midnight Ranger. We will be breeding him with doe from Antlered Acres Whitetails Maxbo Velocity. We are fired up about this cross. There is Width in both pedigrees then you throw in tine length. Again we couldn’t be happier with this cross. Look for us at auction soon.
As some of you know we do our own in house marketing under the Per4mance Whitetails Designs banner. And we have enjoyed helping so many of you all in the past couple months putting a face to you farms and ranches. This is a brochure that I recently came up with that we are going to send to print here for the spring and fall season. Let me know what you think.

I would like to thank all those who have helped us in this industry. You support and guidance has been a blessing to us and has helped us get where we are today. Special thanks to Jeff and Alice at Antlered Acres Whitetails for taking us under there wings. A Josh at Red Ridge Whitetails for allowing us this opertunity to make this cross happen. Thank you all
Matt,
Thanks for the kind words. I have no doubt that Midnight will do great things for you. He has shown that he can do well in a diverse group of genetic lines. Good Luck!! Josh

Thanks its going to be a good one.
Guys on the sales packet i was asked what was up with the graphs and such so let me explain what i was trying to do.
there is a show called Mad Money with jim cramer. And he is always talking about stocks and the stock market. BUY,BUY,BUY or SELL, SELL, SELL just a real good show to watch if your in to the market the guy knows his stuff. So i did a play with the whole stock market thing and there logo to come up with our packet. I fugured it would be a fun way to put the word out. Let people know what we are doing. We are still young and growing and currently do not have any breeders or shooters on the ground. But we have bucks in our pens who are going to put on there first set of antlers this year and doe who have some new and old genetics. So enjoy guys sorry for the confusion.
Check it out and let me know.http://www.thecirclej-ranch.com/sales.html Click on the pics to inlarge them. It might take a sec. or two being a large file and all.

The PDFA is holding there benefit auction again this year in April. We thought this spring would be a perfect time of the year to start putting the word out about or farm and what we have been excited about for the past couple of years. So for the first time ever The Circle J Ranch Whitetails will have its own full page ad! I know its a little victory but it is one im very excited about all the same. I designed it myself under the Per4mance Whitetails Designs banner but you all are going to among the very first to see before it is published in the auction catalog in April. I tried to do an 80's action movie poster so Let me know what you think
We will also be teaming up with Shock Effects and donating some of there great probiotic products. And Per4mance Whitetail Designs will be donating a logo and add design combo. SO look for those lots as well.

We have been bombarded by request lately on when you all are going to see something from us for sale. We are a small farm that in the past haven't had to do much in forms of auction do to people coming to the farm to buy and on top of that Im kind of a hoarder when it comes to deer I want to keep all the good ones for myself.LOL
But here it is at your request our first lot in auction. This auction will be exclusive to Hoof N Paws and you will not find it online for sale anywhere else.http://hoofnpawauctions.com/index.php?
Choice fawn out of our proven doe. Sire is PBW J-Bo a Maxbo son that last year as a yearling scored 201. We stacked this new pedigree on top of older Genetics with a 502 daughter. This fawn will fit into any herd new or old. We AI'ed her last fall and all signs point to yes. These animals have great potential. As the stock in there sire raises so will these fawns. If you review the Auction you will see this is a no risk sale. You will be satisfied or no sale!! So give us a look and let us know what you think.

You can check out some of her offspring on our website. She throws tame doe and buck each year and mothers buck fawns very well. So i think you will be happy with what comes out of her. Thanks again for looking and you have any questions let me know.

I wanted to showcase our lots coming up this week at the Pa Sale.
The first lot is one that i have been talking about all year since purchasing the semen in the spring. Lot #42 page 86. RRW Midnight Ranger over AAW Maxbo Velocity. Maxbo Velocity 264 7/8 hard antler @2 with 27 inch inside and 32 inch outside spread. Up for auction here is one of his first doe fawns on the ground AI’ed to Midnight Ranger. Midnight Ranger 290@4 and has a loaded pedigree of some of the best our industry has to offer. Everything about Midnight Rangers Pedigree says WIDTH! This is a great line breed that is capable of throwing some up coming producers. Jasper is a bottle fed, dog tame, kid trained and will eat out of your hand. She will make a great addition to any size program.
this combination is very exciting to me not only is it a great line breed but we are attempting to ad tine length to Maxbo Velocity's width. But do not be fooled because Midnight Rangers pedigree is full of Width producing animals.
All our animals are dog tame, bottle fed, kid loving, Head Licking, Sweet hearts. A complete joy to be around. All are healthy and look incredible going into AI Season this year.

This lot is by far my favorite. Lot 191 page 86
Josie (Pink 29)This doe is truly the best we have to offer. She is just a big sweet heart. She throws huge fawns every year and is a great mother. She is out of the famous Patrick line and that’s what makes this breeding so special. Your Choice AI! Hard Rock a Rocket son 202 @2 would be a great line breed. Bringing back the Patrick line and multiplying 50/50 and 502 twice over. Or out crossing this line to Rolls Royce What a game changing pedigree. Adding the power of Rolex and High Roller to an already proven line. After seeing some of Rolls Royce yearling this year this should prove both interesting and rewarding.
I get asked about this lot and this girl alot. She is 7 years old and throws tall bucks. Her Yearling sons this year are between 130" and 150" One is tall ( Cal Pictured below in July )the other would have been wide but broke left side early in the season. This girl is a follower! She thinks she is a person and has a personality to boot. She is a dominant doe that treats people better than other deer.LOL She is just a joy.

thanks Mark!
I get asked often from new deer farmers about this line and why i chose it as my foundation. The Patrick line has made alot of deer farmers with its versatility and ability to cross well with other lines. You will find it in many of the pedigrees showcased by some of the big name bucks of today. I very happy to have this line and look forward to bring some of the names today into it and having fun with it!
So i found this article for those who are curious to know more about this line. Special thanks to Bruce Richie of Cove Creek for the link.

Team Deer Farmer,
We are auctioning off one of our breedings this year.On www.buckstocker.com (http://www.buckstocker.com) This girl is dog tame, loves kids, and eats out of your hand. This is one of the lines we are very excited about this year.
Reese is a Maxbo Velocity daughter (300"+ @3 34" outside spread and 31" inside spread) Reese's Womb brothers this year as yearlings where 5x5 and 6x5 (one was damaged early). This girl is in great shape weighing in very close to her mother. she handled this years AI very Well.
She will be breed to Midnight Ranger who scored 340"@5, womb brother to dream ranger and a maxbo ranger son. Midnight might be the best producing Maxbo Ranger son to date. With most of his 2 year old sons scoring in over 200".
View Midnight Rangers sons below and visit:http://buckstocker.com/auction_details.php?name=2010-Doe-AI-to-Midnight-Ranger&auction_id=100559 for auction details.
Thank you all for looking,

Henry,
Gsells are some great guys and are only about 20 minutes from us here. They do a great job with there breeding program. Also i will tell you someone else that has taken this line and has done some great things with is of coarse Bruce Richie at Cove Creek Whitetails and John Ervin Stoltzfus of Rocky Ridge Whitetails. This line is a producer!! you should have no issues selling your lots.
You will also find the Patrick line in the bottom side of the doe listed above her mother is out of the famous JP-2 witch is the granddaughter of Patty #11.
So if your looking for typical production this is the line that started it all. Check out Henry's Gsell lots or look up the doe above on Buckstocker.com Either way your going to get some great consistent genetics.

I will be down soon to complete this thing and then to take you and your beautiful wife out to dinner.

The Circle J Ranch Whitetails is proud to be a Pennsylvania Dealer for Shock Effect Probiotics.
I have used Shock Effect probiotic in our adult herd for all most three years now. The product that I use is The Whitetail Conditioner. Its a great all herd product. I first used it to help put weight back on one of our doe for preparation of AI. She had four fawns and was a little lean in the back side. With the use of this product it took our good feed and made it great. It allowed her to absorb more nutrients that other wise would have passed threw. Need less to say at the time of AI she was a completely different deer. I believe that Shock Effect took my nutrition regiment to a whole new level.
This past fawning season i used there Dispersal. One word WOW! I had no scours with milk increases, no scours when treating and admin. medication, it was the fastest year to wean and put on solid food to date. Now i again believe that Shock Effect took my regiment and fawn care process and improved it.
Shock Effect products are not magic nor a cure all, But used with other good sound practices has helped my over all health and condition of my herd.
Special thanks to the Shock Effect team: Paul, Steve, and Faye for allowing me this opportunity.
