Black Warrior Whitetails

Per4mance Whitetail Designs is in the process of helping another deer farmer put a face to his farm. Chad (split Hoof) from Black Warrior Whitetails contacted us about doing a logo for him. He sent me a story about his farm being located on the Black Warrior River. It got its name after the Mississippian paramount chief Tuscaloosa, which meant Black Warrior. He said you can still walk the banks of the river today and pick up arrow heads. Chad wanted a logo that depicted an native American hunting a deer with a river in the back ground. It was important to him that we pay tribute to the Native Americans that once roamed the banks of this river.

So Per4mance Whitetail Designs set out to tell this story. We put our on flare on it. We tried to show the Indians not only being the hunters but also the conservationist that they were. There respect for game management and wildlife.
So with that we showed the chief feeding the buck and the hunters in the back ground. We are a little unsure of how this notion would be perceived so Our question to you all is "What is your opinion about the deer eating out of the Indians hands" Keep it or toss it?

Matt i think you did a great job on that and mabey you can run our name through your head and come up with something in the future.I know what you are asking with the chief feeding the deer and the hunters behind ready to shoot.Some a$$clowns in this world would put that as high fence hunting blah.blah,blah feed them then shoot them.
I do like it and mabey you could just do away with whatever is in his hand and leave the chief where he is. Great job though!!

I think the design is too busy, I would lose the chief and change the profile of the deer in the front, to have it's nose more "up" you could add a second figure back beside or near the archer ....like a child being taught how to hunt

Good job as is. IF this were for me and I was HIM I might like the chief standing or kneeling over a harvested big buck on the rivers edge with his bow raised to the heavens.

First off, I would like to thank all of you for the replies! Working with Matt on this logo was a lot of fun in how it all came about. Matt is a very talented guy and gives a very good product for a very honest price! If you are even thinking about a logo for your farm, or want to update the one you already have, give him a call! He is very easy to work with and he's pretty darn quick!

I'm getting me a new logo made now. I've changed my farm name to Buck Fever Whitetails. Performance is working on a new logo and everones input would be greatly appreciated. Alot of new ideas come from the fellow deer farmers on this forum. You guys gave me the new farm name. Thank you all for the support
