Hi Everyone!!
On behalf of the Pennsylvania Deer Farmers Association, I would like to extend an invitation for you to join us at the Pennsylvania Deer Farmer’s Association’s 9th Annual Spring Meeting and Benefit Auction on Saturday April 9th, 2011. The auction will be held at the Lancaster Host, located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
This event is FREE, so bring the family! The meeting is full of excitement with many guest speakers, exhibits and even a free meal. The Spring Benefit Auction is the Association’s main fund raiser for the year. The monies raised keep our dues low and fund our lobbying efforts at the state capital along with our member services.
Simply email me at thundervalley@uplink.net and I will send you a donation form to fill out before March 11th 2011 to have your information in the catalog.
Make sure if you are donating an animal, breedings, or semen to complete the pedigree part on the form. Also please include an updated picture of the animal when returning this form for the catalog. If you miss the deadline, that’s ok, we will still accept donations up until the sale starts on the 10th of April, but they may not make the catalog.
Booth spaces are available to anyone who donates an item to the Association for the Spring Benefit Auction. The booth space includes pipe, drapes, and electricity. Please make sure you let us know if you are interested in a booth because booth spaces are limited and are first come first serve.
Thanks for your help and hope to see you there!

I noticed on our lot for the turkey hunt or fishing trip that we donated is worded wrong in the catalog. It starts out saying enjoy a half day turkey hunt.It should say enjoy 2 or 3 days of turkey hunting. In ny we can only hunt till noon so thats where the half day comes in.The rest of the ad is correct.I just got home for lunch and there is 4 longbeards struttin now out in the cornfield.Just struttin their stuff!I spoke to kelly and she is going to make sure everyone knows at the sale!!!!

We just wanted to show some of the results from this year's turkey hunt that we donated to the PA Deer Farmer Benefit Auction. Jr. Lapp and a couple of his friends came up and hunted with Mike. I believe that they left as happy hunters. 3 of the toms were over 20 lbs and had 10" plus beards and all had at least 1" spurs. The 4th one was just shy of 20lbs and had a 9 1/2" beard. Still one more hunter to come up for the hunt/fish trip for this year.

Yes Mike we left as very happy hunters and thanks for the hospitality you showed us!!! We had a wonderful time and many good memories!!
