Just for fun. If you had to pick just one new fawn from this year's crop what would you want out of how she's bred? Buck or doe? Remember only one choice here! Name the Sire and Dam sire please. This should be interesting!:D

Jason, I got my first wish of the season granted today! Red 53 Tiny a Rolex/Bw Sunny/Time Bombs (Eagle Doe) mother and added Texas Tea, so we got Width,Frame and Blood flow and a proven doe! Tiny is the full sister to Jacob Glicks MONSTER yearling 728..................So all goes well this girl will get a date next fall with.............?
La. Bone Collector
05-09-2011, 09:24 PM
Wayne, did u buy her as a fawn? If not I'm gonna be giving Jacob an ear bending! That's besides the point though. Awesome pedigree of course. I tried to buy it a long time ago. Jacob's my long lost brother yaw know!!!! Sam that is a great pedigree. You got width, blood flow and tine length.

I have a couple that I like. Energizer bred to a Hardcore/Marty Graw doe is my favorite. Bucky over a Bam Bam/Goliath doe or Energizer over a Maxbo/Highroller doe. Some great crosses people have put together!

Now Michael, you know your not allowed to put posts of animals of that calibre on here. You make me look bad. Besides you've already committed that one to me......Remember? ?;) I should add that if you had to start over in your deer farming efforts, and you only could choose one animal out of your current program that's bred, what would you pick? That should clarify multiple answering . Just killing time while taking fawn breaks... Jason DCW

I'm with Paul on this one, I'd REALLY like to see the Cardiac Kid/Reggie/Bucky/Highroller/Governor combo work out. Also I'd be real interested to see Lexus/Buckster/Bucky/Highroller/Governor fawns and Cardiac Kid/Lakota/Banshee/Little Bucky/Heavy fawns. I know you said just one, but it's hard to pick between them. I like them all.

We like all of our Blue Mt. Bill sons, Blue River, So Big and Big Timber to name a few. We paired Blue River (Blue Mt. Bill/Jack) with our Avalanche/Jack girls - that should be pretty interesting. We also paired Rex (High Roller/Jack) with some Blue Mt. Bill/Jack girls, and Super Glide (John/Stretch) with some Blue Mt. Bill girls. We put So Big with some of our original Jack the Ripper does (who produced many of these deer) so are trying a little line breeding back here. We will keep most of the does from these crosses and sell a few. Probably will want all the buck fawns.

Jason,I did buy Tiny as a fawn and ever since Jacob has done his best to try and get her back! Ask Jacob about me some time and he'll tell ya I'm his fan club president and have been a big fan of his program long before many ever noticed! Jacob Glick and his family are a class act.

Streamline- that should be a great combo with rolex in the middle of it all!
Wayne Scott- after you get tired of feeding that doe give me a call before you put her down!:p
Jared Kramer -I would love to see what a Buck from that cross would end up being!
Trace 's Shan- that should be wide & heavy. Fireball daughter's produce! He himself was always around 24-26" inside.
Chris- doesn't it only take 6 months for them Texas deer to reach full size?:p:D. He ought
To be a stud or a princess like you wanted.
Just waiting on a few of my doe's to pop. Keep posting them (pick off the farm) fawns!

If I had my wish, I would breed my Loner-Drifter daughter to John Ervins Goldrush and hope for a buck and a doe fawn. He has an awesome look and the pedigree too. The fawns would be shadow, maxin, highroller, loner, drifter. Cant wait to try it this fall!

Some awesome choices from everyone!
I'm going with a breeding I did this past fall, and I'm 99.9% sure it took. Cardiac Kid on Texas Tea's mother (Hannah). She's fat and bagged up. As for buck or doe... I'd love 2 of each! But, I'll be happy just to get some nice healthy fawns out of her.

Mike, I got some Texas Tea comimg any day. What you think I should call them?
Mississippi flood added to texas tea. Anybody give me a name. I also have 30yearling bucks that are looking great. I need some names for them.
I want something that stands out for Louisiana. We seem to behind everybody else. I have 2- great looking Rolex10 yearlings, 1-midnght ranger yearlinng, 1- excellent King Kong yearling that had 3inch spikes as a fawn. I also have RCM Noble on my farm for live breeding this year, but is 8 years old, but he still looks great. He has narrowed up but has a ton of mass.
I need new names for my yearling bucks. Any suggestions are welcome.

or
Easy Does It (Easy Money/Dreambuck) x Top Secret's Wombsister (Shadow x Top Gun's Fullsister)

I think my pick would be our Cardiac Kid/Reggie/Bucky/HighRoller buck fawn. The Bucky HighRoller doe is Moses wombmate.
I also like the Cardiac Kid/Lakota/Banshee buck fawn.
I also like our RolexBy10/Sudden Impact/Timberjack buck fawn.
But if I'm picking any of any farm, I'll take my pick from Darren Deckard's ..... Its a Cardiac Kid/X-factors mother! buck fawn... I think he is keeping that one a secret ...whoops I let the cat out of the bag!
