Isaac he is awesome.........I am just worried that we need to keep the advertising down to a minimum on these forums.....I know Russell has provided an area where we are supposed to do our advertising and i believe he frowns upon us doing it in the forums......Correct me if I am wrong Russell please......I just don't want us taking advantage of your sight that you provide for us here.

Didn't Kevin Calmes raise him? Did you purchase him or partner? I thought "Apple Creek" was Kevins farm, but now its seems to be several farms. Am I seeing it right??????

How many farms did you guys buy? how many breeder bucks are you marketing right now......I got to tell you I am concerned and forgive me if i offend you guys at AppleCreek.......I am a little guy but have a lot invested in my farm and i see this big merger with a bunch of farms and you guys being so large that is scares me ......I worry that you guys will be the Wallmart of Deer Farming.....mass producing all of these bucks and and having to unload lots of them every year and under cutting the prices that the industry has established thus driving the prices down on the shooter market for everyone.........same thing with the semen.........you guys are going to have many deer .......alot of overhead.......and have to move alot of semen and deer in order to cover costs thus driving down prices across the board for everyone......again, I am a small guy just speaking out my concerns......i have a lot of money invested in my farm and of course have concerns for my future....so don't take this the wrong way.......just airing my thoughts and concerns!!

Scott I thank you for your quick resonse and perhaps my concerns should not have been brought out on an open forum and for that I apologize......I will be happy to contact you in the future with my concerns and not so openly in the forum.....I by no means was trying to tarnish your character or Apple Creeks......I have been in the business world for many years with my brothers and have grown a company from scratch to a very successful 300 employee company so I know how the business world works.....we sold and I decided to get involved in something that my true passion was and that is the whitetails....so I apologize as i should have called you personally with my concerns but I truly do admire that you have God leading your company and that does bring some comfort to my concerns.......I do wish you the best and Apple Creek......may we all experience our own dreams through the awesome esperience of raising whitetails!

Dennis,
Thanks for the your reply. I also started a business with my brothers and was Blessed to sell it in 2000. Just food for thought Apple Creek Whitetails is offering our first auction lot in two years Typhoon. The last year we have been helping other deer farms sell over $1,000,000 of their deer and semen on Whitetail Exchange. This goal of Apple Creek is to serve others.
Look forward to seeing you in future.
P.S. Thanks for sharing with Isaac

Make sure you keep one of them on these forums. Sometimes poeple do these things but do it at sales. It's hard for some farmers to travel. Like me, my wife is in a wheelchair thus making it very hard to go to all the sales.

Isaac
If your talking about more straws on Whitetail Exchange, I would say YES!
If I owned him, I would want to get at least 10 or so straws (if it where me, probably more) out there to get it into other bloodlines to prove himself all around the industry. I think that is the best way to advertise him, letting other peoples deer as well as yours do it for you.
You could have it used in some of the best does in the country the way he looks. He has the pedegree to back the rack up. I know everyone thinks they have great does, but just like anything else, someone always has something they think is better. By getting him out there, you could have him put in lets say Maxbo does, PA does, Max does, Flees does, Sundowner does, Maxin does, and the list goes on.
This is one thing I look for when I look at a buck, not only what he produces on his farm, but what he produces on other farms as well, I think that is important, can't explain why, I just like to see a buck that produces with all different blood lines and in all parts of the country.
One more time, WOW!!!
And congratulations.
