Hi there Drew,
Rolls Royce is really, really growing good right now.:) I tried to get some pics yesterday but nothing was good. He was about 60 yards away. I'm sure I'll get some better ones in the next week. It wouldn't hurt to give him a few days anyway. He and Legacy were the last two bucks on the farm to shed and yes they were way behind the group off the start. They both shed 3 weeks after Easter. He's probably not the biggest out there but he's growing really fast and has passed up all of our other 2 year olds that had about a month start on him. I'll update you guys with a video as soon as possible. I guess I was just hiding him and trying to buy him some time.

Russ JR has not posted pics of Rolls Royce yet because he dindnt shed until three weeks after Easter. Obviosly some bucks shed earlier and finish sooner than others, it doesnt do a slower growing buck justice to show pics of them when they are at thier G3s when the fast growers are fnished out by the 20th of June. I am heavily invested in Rolls Royce so he sent me some pics but they were from a distance and he is still black and pouring it on! He is certainly making up for lost time! I took a chance on a great yearling with a great pedigree and it is paying off. Like one of the best breeders in the world says, its not where they start but where they finish. JR said he would get some good pics posted on this thread in the next day or two .I am not making excuses for Rolls Royce,he doesnt need any! :):)

I was just wondering what you guys think of this fawn born in 2009? Is she worth keeping:)
Who should she be bred to?

I would use hardcore. Put b37 on superdoe. Big frame on big frame. Maxbo /b37/rolex/highroller/max/flip. You get the picture

Roger, don't waste your time on that dink. Send her to me and I'll find someone to house her until she can be placed in a new home. lmao She is a real stinger. I agree, HARDCORE !!!!!!

I think somebody was paying very close attention to all the discussions on line-breeding. Very well done!!
Hands down, I'd breed her with a half brother (rolls royce son) or a grandfather (rolex or rocket)!!!

Energizer
Bring in shadow and Maxbo, Superdoe again, Rolex again,
With all shadow has shown this year, wow. That pedigree would be so deep you wouldnt be able to see bottom.

She is so stacked you could breed her to a deer from the wild and you would get a giant buck...

You probably should just sell her to me Roger. I would take real good care of her and maybe even send you a pic from time to time. My plan would be: 1st choice Rolls Royce yearling (I'm with John). By the way Swank I've went back and read some of your posts and believe you are one of the few of us who understands how to breed and have an exceptional insight on line breeding. 2nd choice would be Time Bomb (350-400+ at 2). He's a Rolex son with double High Rollers mother. Sundance and Yellow 4 all over that baby. Sundance is the only buck to produce 3 400" sons. No other buck can touch that. 3rd choice is indeed Energizer. Peak Whitetails knows his stuff and these fawns would be sick with pedigree. Seriously just sick.

John and I have talked about breeding over the years. Between him, Gene Flees, and the bible you can learn a lot about breeding:)
Now if I could just get John to stop giving out to everyone the secrets:eek:
I am really looking forward to breeding that little girl.

Roger,
If I were you, I would be looking forward to breeding the doe fawn that she produces.... :D

Russ,
Thanks, that means a lot to me especially coming from someone that has accomplished as much as you have in the deer industry.

I think he looks like hes got an individual personal trainer, dietition , nanny , and a hair stylist ! Man, he doesnt have a blemish any where on him that I could see. He's just outstanding in every aspect . What a tremendous deer . Congratulations on another jaw-dropper ! WOW. Jeff
