It is similar to youtube... and yes, it's free. :)
... and you're welcome! But it's definitely not all me. I'll pass along your 'thanks' to Richard, Scott, Russ, and everyone in the office!

I joined the website and tried to up load a short video but it says it won't take ".m4v" formats. When I do a video and up load it to youtube it is in the ".m4v" format.
I am wondering how would I change this format so it works on your site? Or can you set you website to accept ".m4v" format?
I really like the idea of a site just for deer farmers. But I hope I can use it as easily as youtube.
Thanks for you time.

Received your video on Updraft. Looks great I will post it on da buck channel Monday. Since we launched this new website Friday deer farmers have watched 1600 whitetail videos with no unrelated you tube trash on the side.
P.S. I produced Sam James Timber Jack video on Whitetail Exchange and da buck channel,. I can also help you. isaac@applecreekwhitetails.com

Roger, the video is live on daBuckChannel.com now! It even has 20 views already!
We also enabled the site to take the .m4v files so you shouldn't have any trouble uploading further videos.
Here is the link to Updraft. (http://www.dabuckchannel.com/video/103/Updraft-2008-yrling-son-of-Flees-Big-Guy)
How about putting some semen up on WhitetailExchange.com now? :)

Isaac and crew thanks much for getting that video up for me. I will be using the site for my vids.
About semen from Updraft... I am not making up stories when I say it is limited. I made one collection and sold some of it, and I actually gave some away to a couple of friends that will be using it this next fall I think. I don't have any straws left, and that is no lie.
Sorry.

Is there a way on dabuckchannel to put video's on and only let password protected people see them...It would be good for Health reasons to be able to post a video and give certain people a chance to see them then take them off...I bought a deer that the diagnosis was Thiamine inadequacy polioencephalomalacia...I would like to share the video's with some without PETA and others putting their Two cents into it.They are graphic and sad but they also should be used as a learning experience...The end of a life is always sad,but if it can save another ...I feel they should be viewed.

I am Richard Mews, the webmaster for daBuckChannel.
When I built this site, I put in a "privacy" feature just for this reason.
The best way to move forward would be to send me your video via email along with your daBuckChannel membership ID.
I will post the video and set up the "privacy" feature in your membership page at daBuckChannel.com. This will give you the ability to approve or deny the members of daBuckChannel that you wish to have see this video.
I personally want to thank you for suggesting daBuckChannel and the technology we developed to handle this unique situation. It has always been our goal that whatever website or technology we develop for the deer industry, that it would be used to serve the needs of our follow deer farmers.
Look forward to hearing from you.
