I don't know if this is the right place to post this, so if it's not, let me know where, and I will move it.
We have a hobby herd of Fallow; one herd buck, and 6 producing does and their offspring that haven't been harvested for the freezer. Two of the junior bucks are white and look like they will have spectacular antlers. This is their second year to grow antlers, and they almost rival the herd buck's set! So they may make good shooter bucks.
This is a contained herd, has been for 15 years, and we inherited them 5 years ago when we bought this place. The folks before us had never done any TB, Brucellosis or CWD testing, and we haven't either. Our plan was to form a relationship with a local vet and have it done, but so far none are interested.
We also don't have a tranq gun or deer chute. We can get the appropriate licences for selling and transporting within the state of Florida to supplement our game farm licence. I believe Fla will let us sell and transport within the state without the tests, but I know I could be wrong,...
What avenues do I have to sell these bucks? How does one go about contacting game farms in the area? They are very nice, and I almost hate to eat them, =-D
