For all of you that have been following us on the Pursuit channel, we will be changing our time slot effective next week. We will now air at 8 PM central time on Thursday night. Instead of Saturday night we are moving to Thursday night. We also will air at 11 AM on Monday mornings. These are central times, so those of you east of us will need to adjust it an hour.

Hope you are enjoying the show and picking up some facts and tidbits along the way.

Pursuit airs on Directv channel 608 and Dish on channel 240. I believe Dish calls it the Hunting channel.

Hope you had a chance to see the show about antler sheds. Had several calls and emails regarding the show and some questions about getting into deer farming. We want to educate people about our business and everything we do.

Great - we hope to show things the average person doesn't get to see, like the buck that just shed his antlers etc. Appreciate the feedback!

Awsome show this is what all hunting preserves should be doing to promote the huntig industry. Keep up the good work. Hopefully this will draw more hunters. This is exactly what I and some others were talking about when trying to get the state orgs involved.

We've really gotten positive feedback on our shows so far. The move to Thursday night has definitely been a boost. I'm surprised how many people are watching on Monday mornings as well. People are fascinated by all the things we do with the deer and the little tidbits of information that go with it.

We just received Season 1 and watched the first DVD, shows 1-5. We learned a bunch of tricks and things that we plan to implement our selves. AWESOME!! Can't wait to watch the rest of the shows!!

Sorry about the repeat. Pursuit got our shows out of sync and ran the repeat to get us back on track. There are 13 new shows that will air on Pursuit and then we will be filming another 13 new ones to follow that. So there will be at least 26 new shows altogether. That is 6 months of new shows. There shouldn't be any repeats but like I said, this was because of an error on Pursuit's part. Again, apologize for that Mike - please keep watching!

Todd, glad you are enjoying the shows. Yes, there is a lot of information there, things we've learned over 17 years, mostly by trial and error. We just filmed a segment on TB testing that will air later - so that should be of interest as well.

Jeff i dont think you will be able to get the show with dish. Angie was going to change over to that untill we found out we couldnt get a bunch of the shows we get now.

Thanks jane, Thursday night at 8pm has turned into sit down time at our place. Awesome show and i will be glad there will be few repeats because last night it went from watching a repeat or watching American idol.... Hard to win.. One guy against three girls..... I lost and went to my room....To watch a repeat!!! LOL

Just wanted to announce the recently Beem Fence has become a sponsor of our show. Mark Beem put up our fence 17 years ago and it is still straight and in good condition today. He has a professional crew that can put up fence in any conditions - through swamps, rock - anything. He will travel anywhere. He also sells fencing supplies. Keep him in mind for your fencing needs. HE is located in lower Michigan.

We intend to! We are currently airing the first 13 episodes and will follow that with 13 MORE new episodes. We intend to do a series on starting a new deer farm - a small operation. Take it from the first step all the way through. That won't start for a while yet but we are working on it.

Thanks for watching!

I really like your show and some of your ideas but, getting new farmers started is going to add to are already flooded market. Good for a preserve owner but not so good for the guy raising shooters that has no preserve. I think one needs to put more focus on getting people to come hunt on preserves not getting more people to raise deer.

Wild Rivers Whitetails
02-13-2012, 08:03 PM
We've had a lot of people ask questions about raising deer and getting started. Also, we think there will be a lot of good information there for folks who are already raising deer. In addition, it will show those people who aren't ever going to raise deer what goes into it - it isn't just an afterthought.

The market here has been good for shooters.
