We at Blackland Whitetails have decided to collect semen on P.J. this year.He was 130"@1, 166"2 and 202"@3. This year he is alot bigger with more points. P.J. is a HUGE framed buck that we have raised. His sire is one of our foundation bucks, "Paden". Paden has been a 5x5 clean 180"+ plus buck for the last three years. Paden has two sons on our farm, one is P.J., and the other is a 5x5 two year old that should score around 160" CLEAN. His dam is a Scar(McQuaig) grandaughter. We lost her, but we have a half sister that is a "horn producing heifer" on our farm. His pedigree is not stacked with great names, but this buck WILL produce. He has two yearlings this year, on our farm, "Rockstar"(wide yearling still growing), and a 5xclub?. These sons are out of what I would call average does. We would like to sell 25 straws at $100 a straw, moreless just to cover the collection fee, and get him out there. In the next couple of years when we start crossing him with our A.I. program I'm sure $100 will be CHEAP for what he will put on the ground. If there is no interest, then we simply won't collect him. You can just respond to this thread, or email me with how many you want. If 25 is reached, we will schedule for a early collection (Favero-Gourley), so it can be used this fall. Once it's collected and stored, we will ask for payment before released to be shipped. Pictures od P.J. and yearlings, attached. Thanks

Thanks Jack, Your 1st on the list, I'm sure I will have a few extra.
P.J. is pouring on the tine length now, and Rockstar is fininshing his beams. He looks to stay a 4x4 frame but has some kickers off his G-2's. His width is what I'm most immpressed with. He has elephant ears and is still out past them.

Scheduled with Dr. Favero on PJ for third week in October. May consider Rockstar if he keeps going. One thing about Rockstar is he mother is OUR SUPERDOE. Y-16 Scarlett has never had a doe fawn, and every buck gets big. She is a awesome doe.She has a Larry son on her side...............????

Just an update to you guys that got semen. PJ is doing fine, we had a bout with EHD and he stood strong (good trait). He has shed his velvet, and didn't seem to loose any mass. He looks as good out of velvet as he did while in velvet. Right now he is just getting fat and sparring with the yearlings. Still scheduled for third week in October on collection. Rockstar finished very strong, shedding his velvet today. He looks to finish around 140"-150" at one, with a awesome frame. Cant wait too see what he can do for you guys wanting his frame and tine legth. You guys that are close, I plan to saw him off around the last week of September, so if you want to see him with antlers, you better get on down.

Thanks To All-----I will get some pics during collection to post.

PJ semen is ready for transfer. Contact Carl Reed at 580-795-3725 or 795-4847.
Those that haven't paid, send payment to Carl Reed, Rt. 2 Box 380, Madill, Oklahoma 73446. Thanks to those who accepted this offer. Because of his great production on our farm, we will only release a few straws at auction, and 10 off the farm at $750 a straw. I can alomost promise you this buck is a sleeper in the "typical" breeding market. His value will show up next year. If you are wondering what to breed him to, stick with big frames, and he WILL produce. Those that dont believe me, wait and see. "hint"---Rockstar.

At this point I am a little short on money. With it being this close to Christmas, things have gotten really tight. I am still interested, but wouldn't financially be able to purchase until February ( 2 straws at $100 each). I have spent my alotment of semen money for the year. I am the one that has to live with my wife, so I have to slow down for a while. If that is OK with you then good, if not then I do understand.
I had written a reply to an email I received from you on Novemeber 30, but I never received an answer.
You guys are doing a great job. I wish you the best !!
GOD BLESS YOU and MERRY CHRISTMAS !!

You should have the balance now Jay along with shipping instructions, believe it was sent this past week. We dont get on here much in the winter due to having hunters and not much time. I too emailed a while back and didnt get an answer but did have a message on here. Thanks
