Flax Seed

I was wondering if anybody uses flax seed in their mix? Are there any positives or negatives you guys know about.

the only thing I know about flax is that it does have good nutritional value, but it also has the ability to go rancid and the smell is worse than another four letter word. damp or high humidity climate is not good for semi-processed flax in feed. Even the oil can go rancid when exposed to water and sunlight.
