My name is Steve Winters. I work on a farm in Notheast Ohio where we take care of about 280 elk.

We have a bull named Joe C who I think we got from you. He has great bottoms. His 1's 2's and 3's are some of the best I have seen. The only problem is he is weak on the top. But overall he is a good bull and we hope some day he breaks the 500" mark but we will see.

Don I thought Joe C ..(DCW 43k )already had broken the 500 mark. Steve I beleive Don's bull Joe C won a couple of International competitions if I'm not mistaken ? If it's the Joe C I'm thinking of I got two of his brothers here as they are all Cassious son's . I also have 3 Joe C daughters and the one Don raised is a monster , biggest cow I've ever seen 713P out of a Clearstone Beamer cow. I'm hopeing my one bulls gets to 500 also as a typical he's inching his way closer and closer ..lol Good to see some elk people on here and Steve you'll never meet a finer man than Don Wages ! Just a thought !

Wooded acres - DCW 43K is the bull we have. He is a great bull. He has been in the 470's but hasent broker the 500 mark yet. Joe has maybe the best bottoms I have ever seen but is a little weak up top. He is looking great this year and we alway hope this is the year he breaks the 500 mark. I do beleave I have meet Don at the Central last year in Ill. He was a great guy and hopefully we will meet again. I'll try to get some pics of Joe and some of our other bulls.

Yes I work at boulder vally. I think the bull you are talking about is Grady. He was 450" at 5 year old. He is a great bull. This past year he had 60" beams and 27" 4th tines.
