Permetherin 10??

I am seeing that my deer are always trying and fighting with face fies. I was wondering if it will hurt if Permetherin 10 gets on their face? I also was wondering if anyone else has any other ideas on spraying if you cannot get close to some of your deer? Thanks in advance.

I usually try to avoid directly spraying it their face, but I couldn't tell you if it hurts them. I sometimes spray my pens with a 25 gallon spot sprayer with a boom attachment. Just put on the four wheeler and drive around the pens.

Drew I use it alot during the summer mainly in the areas where they like to bed. They move but spray that area to and they get use to laying in it. As far as getting it in their eyes I wouldn`t advise it. Even if you have tame deer you`ll only get to rub it around their face once. It has a very strong odor and they don`t forget it. I carry a spray bottle that shoots about 10` so when I can I`ll spray their backs when they come up for treats. You may get a couple but by then the words out.

Drew, I just spray on the ground. I haven't spent the money on one of those high dollar foggers :)

Put garlic powder on there feed.Make sure you use powder and not granulated.The powder will stick to there feed.It help's keep the flies,tick's and alot of other pest away from the deer.

the garlic thing is awsome, next we will just breed deer with fly killing farts! :D
