Curtis, I am just a poor country boy. I don't have access to machinery like that. Looks like it will be a Bobcat auger and crush-n-run packed down real good. The guy at the telephone company said that should be plenty strong for what I need it for.
Thanks Guys!!! |

On our corners we put our poles 10' apart with a 10' piece of pipe between them for a top brace. Then we use a diaginol piece of high tensil wire and a tensioner inline to ratchet it tight. We then put our line post 20' apart. We use 2" barbed staples to fasten the wire onto the poles driving them all the way in on the corners and leaving them about a quarter inch out on the line poles to let the fence give(stretch) alittle if a deer should run into it. If you can, make sure you run the fence on the inside of the poles as it will make the fence stronger if a group of deer hit it at the same time and will discourage the bucks from rubbing their antlers on them or running into the poles as they flee down the fence when startled. Yes i did cugt mine at a 45 then used big 12 inch spikes to fasten them. You can also do like Buckskin said either way will make corner secur i just found it easier and quicker to put one post at a 45. Deffinatly want to try and run fence on inside of post i have seen deer at my buddies place hit fence and pop staples right out. I would just tamp excess dirt and rock around post thats what i did and mine are not going any were.
